Working A Puzzle provides science-based support and heart-led help to individuals with neurocognitive challenges and their caregivers. From children with autism and ADHD to seniors facing Alzheimer's or dementia, our mission is to offer free, personalized guidance and research-backed resources that support wellness and improve quality of life.
Inspired by our founder's journey as a parent to a severely nonverbal autistic teen, we are committed to making compassionate biomedical nutrition support accessible through community-funded scholarships and donations.
100% of affiliate proceeds support Working A Puzzle’s mission — funding scholarships, clinician time, lab access, caregiver support, and program operations that help families access evidence-based care.
Jeana Wilson founded Working A Puzzle after years of navigating the complex world of biomedical nutrition, therapy, and caregiving for her nonverbal autistic son. With a Master of Science in Biomedical Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin and a background in research-based health advocacy, Jeana combined her professional training with deeply personal experience to launch a mission-driven nonprofit that offers science-based support and heart-led help.
As a parent, she knows firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial toll of caring for a loved one with severe neurodevelopmental needs. Through Working A Puzzle, she is committed to helping other families access personalized, evidence-informed guidance—without the burden of high costs or misinformation.
Jeana's passion for creating accessible, customized care plans is matched only by her unwavering commitment to advocating for underrepresented communities. This includes those with autism, ADHD, Alzheimer's, and other cognitive disorders, making the audience feel included and valued.
